Dear Ladder Participant:

Spring is here and it is time to get the Delcastle Tennis Center’s Men’s Ladder started!

The Delcastle Tennis Center will not be open again this summer. Once again, that will not stop the ladder from continuing!

All communications for the ladder will be handled via email and the web site. I do this strictly on a volunteer basis to help keep tennis active in our community. There will not be a charge to join this year once again. The idea is for everyone to play a lot of tennis, meet new people and just have fun.

Henry Young will be maintaining the web site as he has for the past several years. He's been very gracious hosting that site for us for many years now.

We expect to have another great season and I encourage you to sign up and participate. We will have a ladder tournament at the end of the season. The details of that will be communicated to you sometime in August. The first official week of the ladder will begin Sunday May 1st, and the last day of play for the season will be Saturday, Sept. 10th.

To sign up for the ladder, please use the form presented below this letter. All signup emails I receive by Friday, April 30th, will be used to initiate the first week of the ladder. You will retain your ranking from last year if you sign up through the first week of May. I encourage everyone to join up right away so we can get started with a good roster. However, you are welcome to join anytime during the season. I ask that if you want play in the tournament, please sign up by July so you get in play before that time.

After May 8th, new players will be added alphabetically to the end of that list. I encourage everyone to read the rules so you know how the ladder works. Results of the ladder will be updated on a weekly basis throughout the season and posted on our web site at www.delcastleladder.com. I'll also send an email after the update to all participants with a link to the site. Please encourage those you know to join.
